You are free to visit the hotel for drinks and snacks at
any time, the hotel is “Adult Only” if you would like to eat in the
main restaurant and see the nightly entertainment call the hotel on
01460 30111 for dinner including the after dinner cabaret is £20 on
week days and £25 at weekends depending on availability.
Entrance is available at a reduced rate of £5 per head
for adults only to use all the facilities, treatments will be
charged for.
Entrance has been arrange at a special discounted
rate of £10 per pair of passes or £5.50 for a single pass which
allow unlimited entry to the park during your stay (This is NOT
adult only!).
The best pub
in the area by far is Lord Poulett Arms (10 mins) in Hinton St
George and it is best to call for a reservation the food is

Situated in Cricket house were you can enjoy a drink in
the location were To the Manor Born was filmed.
Tescos is in
Chard 3 miles away on the left as you enter the town on the
A30.
Chard, Crewkerne and Ilminster the 3 nearest small towns
have basic shops for a wider range you need to visit Exeter, Taunton
and Yeovil. Honiton is good for antique shops and is a pretty town.
There are many
walks on nearby public footpaths. You are welcome to walk around the
estate but dogs need to be on a lead to avoid them disturbing the
wildlife and farm animals. (See maps for details)
There is a fantastic walk from Puthill to Lyme Regis
if you fancy a 5-hour trek!
Or there is a good short walk to Forde Abbey and
Gardens.
