Before coming to the Taylor's he was produced by Padraig McCarthy as 4 year old, before being bought by Vicky Brake. In 2015 she then went on to win the BYEH qualifier at Gatcombe with Vicky and in the following years she produced him up the British eventing levels from BE90 to intermediate with consistent completions across the grid.

In december 2019 Malcolm came to CSTE for rehabilitation after an injury and then to eventually embrace his showjumping breeding for amanda to compete alongside another livery at the time, Gorsehill Woodie at BS foxhunter.

After a sudden lameness issue in June 2020 with Talulla's pony at the time, Malcolm became Talulla's first horse after his quick bounce back with are amazing vets assistance. with his eventing experience he helps teach her lots as well as helping her with the move to horses and competition horses.

After covid in july 2021 they moved to BE getting Talulla's MERs and achieving consistent double clears and some top 10 placings. Moving into 2022, at the 2nd event of the season, Larkhill BE100u18 she placed 3rd in a competitive section being one of three double clears in it.

Unfortunately later that year in June we made the decision despite his love and enthusiasm for work, especially jumping and competing, that he should be retired. Despite this he very much enjoys his days lying round in the field keeping any youngsters and grass liveries company.
